Using artificial intelligence technology in teaching a foreign language in a public school

This article examines the possibilities of using various artificial intelligence technologies in the practice of teaching a foreign language. The advantages and disadvantages of using these technologies in education are noted, namely in the conditions of a secondary school. The existing resources using artificial intelligence technologies that can be used to study a foreign language and improve the level of proficiency in a foreign language are considered. The article examines in more detail the ChatGPT chatbot, developed on the basis of artificial intelligence technologies, and examines its potential for increasing the effectiveness of teaching a foreign language in a secondary school by increasing interactivity and individualizing the educational process.
