The article analyzes practical and theoretical approaches to the use of problem-based learning in history lessons. The use of problem-based learning technology in combination with the method of reference notes contributes to the development of existing skills, gaining new experience in the use of educational skills, increasing interest in the subject, improving academic performance and the quality of knowledge, and as a result - improving the effectiveness of distance learning.
