The article discusses the essence of the concept and methods of forming cognitive interest in art lessons in elementary school, purposeful and systematic application of creative tasks in art lessons is necessary in order to increase the level of cognitive, creative, artistic activity, as well as increase creative imagination and interest in the subject.
