The use of carbon nanomaterials for effective road construction composite

The article presents the results of research on the production of asphalt concrete with improved physical and mechanical properties and performance using bitumen modified by carbon nanomaterials. Carbon nanomaterials are produced as a byproduct of coal plasma treatment in a plasma reactor. Introduction of additives from 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% significantly changes the properties of the bitumen and thus improves the properties of asphalt.
