The use of prosecutorial legal tools in preventive action

The article is devoted to the analysis of preventive activity of legal means of aprosecutor. The definition “legal means of the prosecutor” is investigated and our own understandingof this term is given. The views of scientists existing in doctrine in relation to the use of legalmeans of a prosecutor in the mechanism of prevention of offenses and crimes are considered indetail. The author’s definition of the acts of prosecutorial response, under which the specificlegal means of prosecutorial response on the basis of and in accordance with the law, aimed ateliminating the violations, the causes and conditions that contributed to them, as well as to bringto justice the offenders, obligatory for the implementation of supervised objects is given.
