The interaction of 3,5-dimethylpyrazole with allyl bromide, methallyl chloride, ethyl bromide, and 4-butenilbromide in alkaline medium has been studied. Mass spectrometry has been used to examine 1-(2-methyl-2-propenyl)-3,5-dimethylpyrazole, 4-(2-methyl-2- propenyl)-3,5-dimethyl-1 H-pyrazole, 1,4-di-(2-methyl-2-propenyl)-3,5-dimethylpyrazole,4-ethyl-3,5-dimethyl-1 H-pyrazole, 1-(3-butenyl)-3,5-dimethylpyrazole, and 4-(3-butenyl)-3,5-dimethyl-1 H-pyrazole.
