По количеству антимюллерова гормона можно определить отсутствие или наличие яичников у самок. Показаны достоверные различия содержания АМГ у самок интактных и стерилизованных. Содержание АМГ у самок в разные периоды полового цикла не одинаковы. У собак с овариореминантным синдромом уровень АМГ не всегда различается от уровня АМГ у стерилизованных.
