The article also describes the types of ethnic identity among Russian youth and young migrants from Central Asia and their severity in young people with personal helplessness and independence. For young people belonging to different ethnic groups, the significance of ethnicity is established. As part of the study of cultural and ethnic conditioning of personal helplessness, not only ethnic and cultural conditions of life are considered, but also ethnic identity, as well as values transmitted by the subject, both general and family. The study of factors belonging to the category of cultural and ethnic factors in the context of the concept of personal helplessness under consideration will help to create a theoretical basis for solving applied problems aimed at preventing and correcting personal helplessness.
