Research on employee motivation methods in modern Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises

The reform of the Chinese economy with an eye to the market after the start of the country’s policy of openness led to a significant increase in the number of organizations belonging to the categories of small and medium-sized businesses in China. However, the deployment of globalization processes and the active introduction of information technologies into all spheres of life are gradually exacerbating competition between them, as the market is becoming more unpredictable in the digital age. The question of how small and medium-sized enterprises can develop effectively in modern society is becoming increasingly relevant. One of the ways to overcome the current situation in the context of business adaptation to digitalization is to work with staff. The article analyzes and summarizes promising trends in employee motivation in small and medium-sized enterprises in China. It is concluded that stimulating employees to work effectively in accordance with changing market conditions will allow small and medium-sized enterprises to ensure their systematic development.
