The study of mineral fibers produced from a mixture of Chinese ash and basalt using an electromagnetic technological reactor

Бесплатный доступ

The article presents the methodology and results of studies of the chemical composition of basalt and ash and slag from a Chinese plant before melting, as well as the physicochemical properties of fibrous heat-insulating materials (mineral wool) produced from this raw material. It gives example of determining the acidity modulus of mineral wool and the dependence of the chemical resistance of mineral wool. The main tool for melting basalt or ash and slag, as well as mixtures of basalt and ash and slag, is an electromagnetic process reactor. The article describes the principle of operation of this reactor and the order of the experiment. The average specific power consumption of a plasma electromagnetic technological reactor for melt production has been determined.
