The review article examines the total power, productivity and maximum rotation speed of the drum and their impact on the technological performance of the ball mills of the Sadonsky lead-zinc plant and the Mizursky concentrating plant. Studies of ball mills were carried out at a working load with varying rotation speeds to determine the highest productivity when grinding lead-zinc ores. As studies have shown, optimal performance occurred at the rotation speed of the drum, the working area of the mills, with a preliminary drop of the grinding media - steel balls.
