Study of the drying process in a semifluidized bed using a digital model

The article deals with the possibility of studying the drying process in a semifluidized bed based on a digital model of an experimental setup.The significant complexity of heat and mass transfer processes often makes it necessary to obtain models in numerical form, for example, using a field experiment. This way is more costly, since it involves the design and manufacture of special experimental facilities and a significant amount of raw materials for repeated repetition of experiments to obtain reliable results. One of the ways of partially solving the arising difficulties is to conduct a numerical experiment on specially developed digital models. The results obtained in accuracy are not much inferior to the results of full-scale experimental studies.
