Research on the reform of general education teaching in universities using artificial intelligence (China’s experience)

With the rapid development of science and technology, artificial intelligence as a new technical tool is gradually penetrating into various social and economic spheres and becoming an important force for industrial modernization and social progress. In higher education, the introduction of artificial intelligence has opened up unprecedented opportunities for teaching and learning reform. Since general education disciplines are the foundation in higher education, the quality of their teaching is directly related to the comprehensive quality of students’ training and the teaching efficiency of subsequent specialized courses. In this regard, the study of strategies for reforming the teaching of general education disciplines in higher education institutions based on artificial intelligence is of great importance for improving the quality of higher education and training highly qualified specialists to meet future social needs - this is the purpose of this paper. Its objectives: characterization of the current situation with the application of artificial intelligence technologies in the field of education, detailed consideration of the problems existing in the teaching of general education disciplines in universities. As a result, practical reform strategies are proposed to provide information to improve the quality of education and teaching in universities.
