Study of retest reliability of psychodiagnostic methods in the system “Diagnostics of internal conflict”

Retest reliability is one of the most important diagnostic criteria confirming the effectiveness of the psychological technique and proving its practical significance. The object of the study was the psychodiagnostic system “Diagnostics of internal conflict” (DVK), developed by the domestic psychologist E.B. Fantalova. This system is a set of psychological methods, which include tests “USCD”, “Seven states”, “Scale of assessment of discomfort”, “Free choice of values" interconnected with each other. The purpose of the empirical study was to determine the retest reliability of the psychodiagnostic system “Diagnostics of internal conflict”. For quantitative analysis of the obtained data, the method of mathematical statistics was used - Spearman rank correlation coefficient. Processing of the obtained results made it possible to confirm that the final indicators of the system “Diagnostics of internal conflict” meet the necessary requirements of retest reliability. Thus, it is necessary to say that the results can be used in practical psychological activity, diagnosis of mental states.
