A Study of the Risks of Developing Economic Systems (On the Example of the G7 and BRICS Countries)

The relevance of the research is determined by the need to identify, analyze and mitigate the risks of the development of economic systems in various countries of the world in conditions of high levels of uncertainty and turbulence of the external environment. The purpose of the study is to study the risks of the development of economic systems and the peculiarities of their manifestation in various country conditions, as well as to develop proposals for leveling their destructive impact. The objectives of the study include analyzing the socio-economic situation in the world and identifying the risks of developing economic systems; identification of the specifics of the response of the economies of different countries to emerging risks; identification of risk management tools in the context of changes. Methodology. The research uses methods of economic and statistical observation; comparison; economic induction and deduction; abstract logical method; graphical method. Results. The analysis of the risks of the development of economic systems and models of adaptation to changes is carried out using the example of the G7 and BRICS countries, as well as a comparison of a number of indicators in dynamics. The key risks of the development of the economic systems of the world’s countries during the period of changes, including a slowdown in GDP growth, the risk of a decrease in the level of human well-being and development, have been identified. The key determinants of risk management for the development of economic systems are highlighted.
