The properties of new class of ultrasmall superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (USPIO) was investigated. It was shown, that the main part of the binding protein forms stable complexes with USPIO nanoparticles. Binding of pure CD-specific antibody and complexes nanoparticles-antibody with human leukocytes in vitro was investigated. It was shown that the labeled nanoparticles are suitable for the selective binding to target cells.
