Investigation of self-consciousness and ways of psychological defense of senior preschool children

The present article investigates the specificity of the formation of self-consciousness with senior preschool age children under the influence of different ways of psychological defense in the system of child-mother relationship. The theoretical justification of the notions 'self-consciousness' and 'psychological defense' is given. The concrete experimental data concerning the revelation of the interrelationship of self-image and the applied ways of the defense of senior preschool age children are characterised.
