The cytological analysis of three coriander varieties was done. Backlogs of separate chromosomes and their associations at stages of a mitosis metaphase and anaphase are found out. The general share of infringements in mitosis of sprouts from average samples does not exceed 2-3 %. Frequency of mitosis anomalies sprouts from semisterile plant seeds in average reached 14% that indirectly testifies the presence of chromosomal mutations. Exactly the presence of chromosomal mutations is thought to be the most probable reason of formation of semisterile coriander umbels.
