The article considers the technology for producing mineral wool products in the form of semi-rigid slabs of basalt from Suduntuysk field using electromagnetic process reactor. There are given studies results of raw materials composition to the melting, and performance properties of the products obtained. The density and thermal conductivity of the semi-rigid boards are defined by the GOST requirements.
