The article deals with the issues of the development of the students’ comprehension of the cognitive processes and skills to manage them while organizing the project activity. There are considered the results of the study of the influence of digital technologies on the efficiency of studying the foreign language by the means of the rise of the level of introducing the metacognitive strategies with the use of the digital tools “MindMeisters”, “Jamboard”.
