The article considers the approaches peculiarities to physical education in schools and higher educational institutions. The purpose was to determine whether there are differences in the methodology of teaching physical education and how much the average student is ready to pass university standards. Based on the data obtained from the study, the article author made conclusions about the features of the transition from school training to passing standards at the university, as well as made recommendations designed to make such a transition less stressful for the student and allow to achieve the highest results.
