The article proposes a typological model of sources used in the analysis of modern marginal eschatology. Marginal eschatology is interpreted in the article as a set of ideas about the final future of the world, characteristic of religious marginal subcultures from the point of view of opposing these ideas to the dogmatic teaching of the Church. The classification of sources by the type of information carrier involves identifying handwritten sources, printed materials, audio and video materials posted on the Internet and on the media, oral narratives recorded by the researcher or trusted persons. The classification of sources by their genre characteristics involves identifying prophetic texts, hagiographic and pseudo-hagiographic materials, religious journalism and information messages about eschatologically significant events, various appeals and messages from leaders of subcultural communities of the eschatological type. The proposed model also provides for the possibility of classifying sources in accordance with the peculiarity of the appeal to authorities and the degree of authority, pragmatics and communication intention.
