The article deals with the representation of the structure of the research competence in the context of the competence paradigm of the education. There are revealed and illustrated such components of the research competence as the cognitive, information, linguistic, communicative, creative, motivational-willed and business competencies, that is determined by the research activity of the deontological competence and the competence of the personal self-improvement.
