The article discusses the relationship between the processes that took place in the foreign economic activity of our country and the level of research on warehouse optimization. Thus, the 1980s were the period of the beginning of scientific research in the field of foreign economic activity and the agro-industrial complex. In the 1980s, the subject of scientific research was often the assessment of the vertical of state power involved in food exports, the development of scientifically based models of interaction. An increase in the supply of agricultural products implies an increase in the storage of products. Therefore, in the early 2020s, the study of warehouse processes in the agro-industrial complex in the context of foreign trade is extremely relevant. The concepts of foreign economic activity of the agro-industrial complex began to take shape in domestic science in the 1980s. It is at this time that private initiative penetrates into foreign economic activity.
