Historical aspects of the formation of medical law

The relevance of the study is that the study of the historical features of the legal regulation of the medical field is important for the modernization of current legislation. The analysis of the studied literature makes it possible to distinguish a number of stages in the development of legal regulation of the procedure and rules for the provision of medical services and the implementation of professional activities in the field of medicine. Within the framework of this article, the beginning of the formation of medical law is considered, the main regulatory legal acts and measures taken by the state to develop state medicine are analyzed. In conclusion, the author comes to the conclusion that in the period of Ancient Russia, the beginnings of healthcare are emerging, as a process that has passed a long history of development and embodied in a modern system of measures aimed at ensuring the maintenance of an adequate level of public health.
