Historical aspects of development of the Russian criminal legislation regulating responsibility for illegal business

The paper examines the stages of the historical development of the legislative regulation of the protection of legitimate business activities from criminal encroachments in Russia. The author analyzed the most important historical legal acts regulating the scheme under consideration. The relationship between the Soviet period and pre-revolutionary Russia has been drawn. In conclusion, it was concluded that entrepreneurial activity is a socio-economic value in the economy.
