Historical background of the formation of extremism in Russia

The article is devoted to a historical retrospective of the formation and development of extremist activity in Russia. The author outlines the main stages in the formation of extremism as a wrongful act. The characteristic features of each of the periods are systematized and structured. Particular attention is focused on the pre-revolutionary stage of the emergence of extremism in Russia and its historical background and primary sources.
