The historical significance of the estate of S. I. Mamontov in Kireevo and the Moscow State Institute of Culture: geographical and cultural intersections

Th e immediate geographical proximity of the Kireevo estate to the modern territory of the IPCC, common borders, the commonality of economic topography, the unity of the natural landscape, the direct cultural and economic impact of the owners of the estate on the territory occupied by the IPCC today, allow us to assert the existence of historical and cultural continuity. Th e Moscow State Institute of Culture was established and developed on the territory, which during the second half of the XIX century was an integral part of the natural and cultural ensemble of the estate of S. I. Mamontov Kireevo.
