The history of running. Wellness running as a means of maintaining a person's physical form

The article examines the history of the formation and development of running in the world. The gradual and consistent development of running as a sport in connection with sanology is studied. The views on strengthening human health through recreational running are presented, taking into account modern knowledge and ideas about medicine, in particular with functional shifts in the circulatory system, a general decrease in morbidity, changes in the state of the central nervous system and compensation for missing energy costs. The main motivational stimuli of a person to engage in recreational running are determined, the running technique is considered in detail (runner's posture, methods of setting and loading the foot, a proportionate step length), the order, conditions and sequence of running health training, the general and special effects of running on the human body. Ultimately, this article proves that running is one of the most important means of improving a person's health and general physical condition.
