The article deals with one of the major theoretical and methodological problems of the history of philosophy - to achieve unity of the historical and philosophical aspects of historical and philosophical knowledge. Analyzes the different approaches to the reconstruction of texts and their ability to balance between historicity and philosophical nature of thinking.
