The article discusses the features of the tour of the Kiev Jewish Theater for Young Spectators to the city of Birobidzhan, as a way of forming a tolerant relationship between the peoples living in the Soviet Union. Since the theater in the 1930s was not only a means of agitation, through his work, he introduced the inhabitants of the country to the national culture of other peoples, with their language, literature, music. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the fact that the article for the first time attempts to analyze the features of the creative activity of the Kiev Jewish Theater of the Young spectator, in the process of his creative work in the Jewish Autonomous Region. The author of the article reveals the content of individual plays staged on the stage of the theater during the tour. The work uses a comprehensive method that combines the source analysis of periodical articles and a comprehensive analysis of performances. For the first time, the names of individual actors of the Kiev collective who successfully played their roles in the performances presented to the residents of Birobidzhan are mentioned. In conclusion, the author draws a conclusion about the undoubtedly important role of tours between individual republics, which allowed to establish intercultural ties between the citizens of the country. After all, the population of Birobidzhan, like all residents of the Far East, for various reasons could not visit the Ukrainian SSR, but the creative team that arrived in the summer of 1940 with its unique performances, fully allowed the population of the EAO to enjoy and learn the specifics of the cultural heritage of the Jewish people living in Ukraine.
