History as a science

In this particular article, the author analyzes the historical science as a complex, integrative discipline from both theoretic and methodological viewpoints, firmly believing, that any other approach in the matter of proving its objectivity is nonexistent. Since history as a scientific phenomenon combines within itself elements of social sciences, it represents a complex intellectual product that explores options for the development of socio-political life. Therefore, only on the base of objective natural laws one can fully understand it. Different conclusions of historians on the matter are usually co-dependent with existing social paradigm and the will of political power actors.
