History of the development of criminal proceedings against minors in Russia

The article is devoted to the issue of the historical development of criminal proceedings against minors in Russia since 1864, which became the starting point for the formation of a special procedure for criminal proceedings in criminal cases against minors. Further development was complex and contradictory and was determined by the priorities of state criminal and criminal procedural policy. Each historical stage was distinguished by its own characteristics, which were the subject of consideration in this article.
