History of the development of women's basketball in the Republic of Karelia in 1935-1961

This article analyzes the history of the development of women's basketball in the pre-war and post-war periods in the Soviet Union and the Republic of Karelia. The main objective of this work is to study the history of the development of women's basketball in the Republic of Karelia in the pre-war and post-war period, pay attention to interesting facts of that time, and then compare it with the current level of development of basketball in the Republic of Karelia.
