Historical and cultural projects: the education for children and young people of the Russian emigration in the 20th century

The education of children and youth following the national traditions was one of the missions in the scientific and cultural life of the Russian people living overseas. To preserve cultural and linguistic identity the comprehensive school and vocational education offered courses in Russian. The corporate and cultural organizations encouraged informal communication for immigrant youth in student unions, literary clubs, and interest groups.
