Historical and pedagogical analysis of formation and development of the profession of pioneer leader: to the centenary of pioneer movement in Russia

The article presents historical and pedagogical analysis of the formation and development of the profession of pioneer leader. This study was carried out with the aim of determining the modern values of educational leader activity and its relevance in training specialists in organization of summer holidays for children. The importance of the study lies in the necessity to implement modern training programs for educational leaders and to determine the features of children’s youth recreation when changing the educational paradigms and developing new content of education for children on summer vacations. The study was carried out on the basis of a theoretical analysis of historical, psychological, and pedagogical literature. On the basis of the comparative historical method, we carried out the comparison of the content of educational policy in the field of youth movement development in various historical periods in Russia and evaluate its effectiveness. The authors analyze the informative aspects of the pioneer (now - educational) leader’s activity, trace the dynamics of their change over the century in the context of transformation of cultural traditions, political plans of the state, its responsibility for the future of the young generation. As a result of the study, we determined the need for educational activity of the teenager leader, identified forecasts of its development, with the help of statistical methods, determined the readiness of educational leaders to practical activities and adjusted the nature of their training.
