This scientific article explores the historical and theoretical aspects of the cultural heritage of Russian noble estates. It presents an analysis of estates as objects of historical, architectural, and cultural heritage, as well as their structure and functions in the sociocultural context. The author provides a detailed description of the historical context of the emergence and development of noble estates, starting from the 18th century. Attention is drawn to the fact that these estates were not only places of residence for nobles but also centers of cultural life where various cultural events took place. The study presents arguments based on archival materials confirming the significance of these estates for the development of literature and art. The article also examines the influence of noble estates on architecture and landscape design. The author notes that many estates were built in the neoclassical or romantic style, and their architectural solutions and decorative elements influenced the development of architecture at that time. Furthermore, the author points out that estates were often surrounded by beautiful parks and gardens, which served as models for creating other landscape ensembles. In conclusion, the author emphasizes the importance of preserving and studying noble estates as part of Russia's cultural heritage. The author calls for the implementation of special programs and projects aimed at the preservation and restoration of these estates, as well as conducting research and promoting their history and cultural significance. Special attention is paid to the influence of the nobility on shaping the cultural environment, the development of art and literature, as well as the preservation and transmission of historical memory. This comprehensive study reflects the complex development of Russian society and the role of estates in it, as they were not only architectural structures but also centers of economic, cultural, and social life. The article underscores the necessity of preserving and restoring estate complexes as an important element of cultural heritage and a key aspect of preserving the historical and cultural identity of society. The article reveals the significance of noble estates as a source of cultural wealth and historical value, highlighting their importance for preserving cultural heritage and national identity.
