Aut of the history of binomial and polynomial theorems

The article shows a historical process of development of binomial and polynomial theorems. The contribution of Indian, Islamic and Western European middleage scientists is presented. It's showed that B.Pascal was win, who arranged the connection between binomial coefficients and C mn. Scienfitic knowledge of I. Newton and his predecessors in this problem is estimated. Ex­tending of binomial theorem to polynomial is examined.
