Publishing and methodological activities of F. F. Pavlenkov in Vyatka exile. To the 180th anniversary of the birth of the enlightener

The article reveals the content of the publishing, educational and methodological work of the famous Russian cultural figure and teacher Florenty Fedorovich Pavlenkov (1839-1900). The main attention is paid to the period of his stay in exile in the provincial city of Vyatka, as well as in the county town of the Vyatka province of Yaransk. The importance of his ascetic efforts to develop education in the Russian province in the second half of the XIX century is shown on the example of the Vyatka province. Attention is paid to the characteristics of his creative ties with the local intelligentsia. The article describes the activities of the All-Russian public organization called the Commonwealth of Pavlenkov Libraries, which unites libraries named after F.F. Pavlenkov. The article was prepared in connection with the 185th anniversary of Pavlenkov's birth.
