Changes in motives of personal behavior in the context of the scientific and technological revolution

The study analyzes the changes in personal behavioral motives in the system of social relations of the post-industrial society under the influence of the scientific and technological revolution. The transformation of science into the direct productive force and the development of the educational and cultural level of people in the post-industrial society affect the role and significance of the rational component in people’s behavior. The motive of personal behavior is modified in the context of the scientific and technological revolution. For the motive, the evaluation function turns into a prerequisite for finding ways to meet the needs according to the current level of social production. The predominance of scientific knowledge in the motive structure and the dramatic increase in alternative solutions to the multifactorial problems transform a motivation of personal behavior. For the motivation, the correlation between the sensual and rational components is modified in favor of the latter. The change in human behavioral motive has an impact on the socialization of a person.
