The paper examines the change in the ratio of elements of traditional and new morality in the moral consciousness of generations in the process of socio-cultural transformation of post-Soviet Russia. As a methodological basis for studying the issue, the paper uses the concept of intergenerational change in values by R. Inglehart and the conflict concept of studying the values of Sh. Schwartz. Analysis of the dynamics of the structures of moral consciousness showed that throughout the post-Soviet period, elements of traditional and new morality continue to coexist and interact among all generations, continuity remains between generations, which is expressed in a gradual shift in value priorities. This indicates a gradual movement towards achieving a new sociocultural balance, which cannot be imagined without a combination and interaction of traditional and new elements of moral consciousness in all generations.
