The aim of the study was to assess the dynamics of clinical, hematological, as well as some indicators of metabolism in cows during the new year period and to identify the most dangerous period for the body, possible for metabolic disorders. The results of the studies showed that from the 1st day of lactation, the frequency of respiratory movements significantly decreases, the duration of chewing significantly increases, rumination significantly increases compared to cows 60 days of lactation. We have established a tendency to decrease blood glucose in comparison with the 1st day of calving, and by the 60th day of lactation there is already a significant increase. The amount of total protein by the 60th day of lactation increases compared to the day of calving. The number of ketone bodies also significantly increased by 60 days after lactation compared to 1 day on. The pH of the blood serum did not significantly change throughout the study period. Ionized calcium in the blood serum on day 60 showed a significant increase.
Metabolism, protein-carbohydrate metabolism, separation period, new body period, ketone bodies, ionized calcium
