The article presents the features of early recovery period at patients after cardioembolic stroke, based on study the relationship between severity of neurologic deficit and functional state of hemostasis. The analysis of adherence to anticoagulation and risk assessment appointment of anticoagulants at patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation genesis in 350 patients who underwent carotid cardioembolic stroke. Conducted a comprehensive clinical and neurological examination during the first three months of observation allowed to establish an extremely low adherence to anticoagulation. It is shown that all patients undergoing cardioembolic stroke, need to monitor coagulation parameters and markers of coagulation activation in the dynamics not only to monitor ongoing anticoagulant therapy, but also in relation to the severity of hypercoagulable states. Requires further development strategy of anticoagulant therapy with the risk of bleeding and the possibility of reducing the risk of recurrent acute cerebrovascular (stroke).
