Isolation: the biographical experience and artistic language of Elisabeth Langgesser

The socio-psychological situation in Germany in the thirties, experienced as an experience of isolation, proved to be fruitful fort he creation of a new artistic language. On the example of a lyric poem the german-language poetesses Elisabeth Langgesser is shown, how the biographical experience of isolation is transforned into an artistic language. At article explores the aesthetic and ethical values of Langgesser’s lyric.
