This paper presents the results of a study of the biochemical composition of blood serum in quail experimentally infected with ascariasis before and after treatment with various antiparasitic drugs. It was established that in quail experimentally infected with Ascaridia galli invasive eggs, the content of total protein, albumin, globulin, alanine aminotransferase, aspartate aminotransferase and glucose had significant differences compared with the indicators of birds before infection. The biochemical parameters of quail blood serum after treatment with S-16 preparations, albendazole and fenbendazole are fully restored to physiological norm on day 14, which indicates good tolerance by birds of these anthelmintics.
