Studying the language through the prism of the English humor

The article considers the importance of the language studying through the English humor. The authors describe some effective ways of mastering the language on the basis of the analysis of the jokes found by watching original video of the language schools and films illustrating the main peculiarities of the English humor and culture. The article presents the results of the questioning of the students of East Siberian state Institute of culture to reveal the ways of independent studying the English language and the role of humor in their lives.
