The article presents the results of studies on the study of the local irritating effect of the new anthelmintic compound "K-55". It has been established that the antiparasitic compound "K-55" at concentrations of 1, 5 and 10 % does not have a local irritating effect on the skin of white rats, and also does not cause functional and morphological disturbances in the structure of the epidermis at the site of application. According to the results of studying the effect on the mucous membranes of the eyes at concentrations of 0.1, 0.5 and 1 % aqueous solution during the study period, it follows that the K-55 compound also does not have a negative effect. With repeated application of a 1 % concentration of a solution of the K-55 compound on the 14th day of the study, it does not cause allergic reactions on the skin of animals.
