Research into the Mordovian embroidery in the context of ethno culture

The article presents the experience of integrative description of native embroidery as a product of a Mordovian woman's creative activity, the guardian of symbolic information. The author endeavors to comprehend embroided compositions featured with basic decorative symbols of Ezyan embroidery as a representation of a definite fragment of reality with a unifying content.
