Studying pathology of the eye and its apparatus in the Altai region population who were subject to radiation as a result of nuclear tests in Semipalatinsk proving ground

The results of ophthalmologic study of the eyes in the Altai region population who were subject to radiation as a result of nuclear tests in Semipalatinsk proving ground are presented in the article. Two groups of population were examined: the main (exposed) and controls. Levels of pathologic affection in people main group who were born and permanently living before the moment of the abovementioned test considerably exceed those in controls.
