The article presents the modern trends in logo design by the case study of redesigning the famous brands’ logos. The paper examines the basic principles of their transformations and the reasons for changing visual patterns by large successful companies. The authors prove the necessity to apply the experience of significantly redesigned logos while teaching graphic design fundamentals, logo design in particular, to students of Art and Graphics Department.
